One of 怡红院North鈥檚 key objectives is strengthening communication and fostering engagement across the University. We seek faculty, professional staff, and students to join us as 怡红院North Advocates. In this role, you will represent 怡红院North as ambassadors, communicators, and advocates within your respective colleges and communities. The selection process for each 怡红院North Advocate will be based on either self-nomination or nomination by a college dean/center director.

Curriculum Resources

怡红院North supports faculty in integrating sustainability values into their academic course curricula, helping shape the next generation of leaders equipped to address global challenges. We empower educators to inspire meaningful change in their classrooms and beyond through workshops, resources, and collaborative opportunities.

UNE鈥檚 Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) is a resource that promotes excellence and innovation in evidence-based, student-centered teaching, emphasizing inquiry, inclusion, and community. Additionally, a new Planetary Health Module is ongoing for faculty to use as a resource to incorporate into their classes. External Projects

怡红院faculty and professional staff have the opportunity to leverage the resources at 怡红院North and participate in various conferences and workshops.

In the past, members from UNE鈥檚 community have been engaged with 42藲N: New England Forum for Arctic Collaborations, a workshop that combines academic expertise in Arctic research across New England with researchers, stakeholders, and external partners concerned with environmental, economic, and social impacts.

The SeaMade Bars project is an external project with solid ties to 怡红院North. In 2024, SeaMade Seaweed Company gifted 怡红院their nutrition-bar company to transition it to a 怡红院teaching tool that will offer a highly visible example of interdisciplinary collaboration and an all-natural, honey-and-kelp treat made by students using locally sourced ingredients.
